Piping

We tailor the piping element of your tour exactly according to your needs and wants, from complete beginner to advanced player.

We would normally aim to put around two one hour sessions of tuition per day. (That’s tuition, PRACTICE has to be done too.) I’m totally happy however, to spend as much, or as little time as you want on learning.

Compared to actual 1 to 1 tuition time on residential courses, we think we offer a much better learning experience. Don’t forget most of the visits are also centred round piping, so the whole holiday is very much an immersive learning package. Have a look at our itineraries for an idea of how we mould the holiday for you.

In addition to playing tuition, inputs on history, theory and maintenance are also delivered, sometimes in the evening after dinner.

On days out, we take the pipes everywhere. Why take photos of the piper by the Castle/Loch/Mountain? BE the piper!
