Neil has a long and Keen interest in Scottish History, and holds a degree in Scottish History and Religion. We are based in Drumnadrochit (DRUM NA DROKIT). on the shores of Loch Ness, and 14 miles from the City of Inverness, the Capitol of the Highlands. We are 10 minutes walk from Urquhart Castle (90 seconds by car!), and ideally situated for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. We are 30 minutes from Culloden Battlefield, and are surrounded by historic sights, several directly related to piping and piping history. Our scenery is breathtaking, and we have several hillwalks accessible directly from our door. The wildlife is abundant, and we frequently have deer in our back garden.

We have a bank of itineraries, but they are only included as a rough idea of what we can do. Each Tour should be different, tailored as closely to your needs as possible. If you want to do something, just say, the answer should be YES. Due to a large number of contacts and insights built up over the years, we can take you behind the scenes at many venues, gain access to events and sites normally denied to the public, or difficult to get to, and help you feel entirely part of the landscape.
